Social Culture in the Translation of (Dagestan is my Country) by the Writer Aziz Kurdi

Abstract

Translation, or the process of rewriting a work, is more difficult than formulating the idea of   the author in the mother tongue (source language).  The understanding of meanings depends on the cultural sources that are transmitted through language, because culture is hidden in the depths of language and carries the identity and reality of different nations. Translation is a form of linguistic expression and a kind of culture this is a difficult task in the face of translation. It may produce differences due to the social, political and ideological foundations of both cultures.

In terms of the importance of cultural gifts, socio-cultural gates have emerged, which bridge the relationship between human and social contents, and connect sociology and anthropology Above all, the expressive and social functions of the text, in addition to the aesthetic functions, appear in the expressed lines.

Aziz Gardi's choice of Rasul Hamzatov's (Daghstani mn) was not spontaneous, but the long history of the text itself and the cultures in the text encouraged his translation into Kurdish.

In this article we will work on socio-cultural (Daghstani mn) and present the cultural categories, their influence and ranking, we will compare it with the second translation of (My Dagestan) by (Hassan Danshfer).
