Providing discipline in the classroom is one of the problems that concern the mind and mind of everyone who addresses the education process and at all levels, starting with the lower levels and up to the levels in postgraduate studies. Unacceptable and unwanted behavior on the one hand, and searching for the best patterns that must be followed for the success of the education process.
The teacher is considered at all levels the decisive factor in the effectiveness of the teaching and teaching process, it is he who organizes, manages and executes experiences to achieve the set goals and he must bear in mind that his success in his teaching and learning process is not complete to a full extent except by understanding learners' behavior and searching for effective methods and ideal patterns for implementation His plans.
Control behaviors are an important part of the educational process, and it is the essential part for the success of the teaching process, through the application of strategies that facilitate the occurrence of the best level of learning and personal growth among learners, by responding to academic needs.This study aimed to identify the academic control behaviors used by Iraqi university professorsAfter reviewing the literature and previous studies, the researchers prepared a scale for academic control behaviors consisting of (52) items.The researchers used the descriptive analytical method, and the study sample consisted of (100) teaching staff in the colleges of Tikrit University for the academic year 2019-2020, and the scale prepared for this purpose was applied, and the researchers used the following statistical means: Pearson correlation coefficient, Fakronbach equation, T-test for one sample.
The researchers reached a set of results, conclusions and recommendations.
