Completion of Nouns in the Kurdish Language According to the Opinion of Wolfgang Teubert

Abstract

This research, entitled (Completion of nouns in the Kurdish language according to the opinion of Wolfgang Teubert), aims to determine the type and categories of Kurdish nouns in terms of meaning, which need obligatory complements to nouns, as well as the number and types of linguistic categories that become obligatory complements to these nouns. The subject has been studied. From the perspective of the descriptive approach, the research consists of two chapters, except for the introduction and results. The first chapter includes the following titles: a summary of the history of equivalence rules, the theory of equivalence in language, types of phrases in the equivalence rules, and finally complements and additions. The second chapter includes the following titles: Nouns that have complements, Complementation of nouns according to the opinion of Wolfgang Teubert, Completion of nouns in the Kurdish language according to the opinion of Wolfgang Teubert.

In conclusion, the research concluded that, according to Teubert, Kurdish names are classified in terms of meaning into twelve types, all of which require an obligatory complement.
