Abstract

Covid-19 has influence on all aspects and fields around the world, especially learning institutions. This research seeks to demonstrate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic as a strategic shock on education process, analytical research on a sample of teaching staff at Salahaddin University in Erbil.

The research used questionnaire tool for obtaining the data, as it designed on the basis of research hypotheses, and distributed on the Lecturers of Salahaddin University-Erbil/ College of Administration and Economics, numbering (195) Lecturers, and returned (122) forms, which are (%70) of the total sample. The research tested the impact and differences between research variables in order to obtain answers related to the research problem by using statistical methods based on statistical programs for administrative research (SPSS).

The research concluded that the Covid-19 pandemic had a shocking impact on the researched Organization as impacted on the other Organizations, it made them to review its strategies and policies. The research recommends developing strategies and policies to cope with surprised/ shocked changes.
