ZJHS utilizes Turnitin to assess manuscripts for plagiarism. The acceptable range for similarity is 20% with a maximum rate of 5% per article. All submitted manuscripts are rigorously checked for plagiarism against a vast database of websites and academic publications. ZJHS upholds academic honesty and integrity categorizing plagiarism as unethical academic behavior.
Even a single sentence lacking a proper citation is considered plagiarism. Therefore, any line from a manuscript or published work that lacks appropriate citation constitutes plagiarism and may infringe copyright laws. Using others' ideas and efforts without credit is considered dishonest.
At ZJHS, authors may submit work that overlaps with their previous publications only if proper references are provided. All submitted manuscripts must be original and not previously published. Authors must declare any simultaneous publishing submissions.
