الخلاصة
بسبب زيادة احتياج لتعبير عن فكرة و مشاعر و الأشياء الجديدة، تبنى الكلمات الجديدة بشكل مستمر. الحقل المختص بتكوين الكلمات يسمى بعمليات تكوين الكلمات. إنها جزء من العلم الصرف التي تتناول كيفية تكوين الكلمات في اللغة. التركيب، الاشتقاق، التحويل الصرفي، الاختزال، النحت اللغوي، الاختصار، و التكرار الصرفي كلها عمليات تكوين الكلمات. هذه الدراسة اثبتت انه هناك بعض العمليات تكون اكثر الانتاجاً للكلمات بينما هناك عمليات لاتكون منتجة اطلاقاً. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى ايجاد عدد الكلمات التي تكونت و ادخلت في قاموس اكسفورد الإنجليزي من سنة ٢٠٢٠ إلى ٢٠٢٤. و تهدف ايضاً إلى تحديد العمليات التي تكون اكثر انتاجاً للكلمات خلال السنوات المحددة. هذه الدراسة أخذت البيانات من القاموس اكسفورد الإنجليزي لتحليل الكلمات الجديدة.
