Directions of university students to publish crime news on Kurdish satellite channels Field study on students of the Faculty of Arts in Salahuddin University / Erbil

Abstract

This study aims to introduce the students' approaches to publishing crime news on Kurdish satellite channels, and to identify any possible medium that can support such publications. This study considers the news on the formation of consciousness among the public, and then the analysis of criminal and criminal activities in society, and its kinds. The study uses descriptive studies, using the survey methodology, and relying on the use of surveys to collect information and evidence, such as the study group of students of Salahuddin University-Erbil. It takes a look at the students of the Faculty of Arts, which consists of 150 participants divided into three courses in the faculty, the Department of Information and the Department of Society and psychology. The researchers used a deliberate eye on this nature, and distributed the participants equally over the three divisions and each division 50 participants. The main results of the study are: Kurdish satellite channels are heavily covered with crime news, and because of the importance of these events from news and great exposure to the public The Kurdish satellite channels do not meet the interests and needs of the people of society, but they do not publish other news. The content of this article may increase the amount of public expression even if these news or articles increase the proportion of wrongdoing and crime among members of society.
