Semiology of Title in Aziz Gardi's Three Medicines

Abstract

Today, semiology is very important for understanding and interpreting culture and literature, therefore a different reading to analyze and interpret the symbols in the text, titles in semiology research, is an important gateway to achieve meaning, the choice of names for the heroes and characters it has a specific purpose and meaning. Similarly, the title, which attracted the attention of researchers after the constructivists, was considered one of the keys to entering the text and identifying the it, therefore, the implementation of an important method in the field of contemporary literary criticism with an ancient tool such as Kurdish story, which is so rich that it can be used for practical purposes, this is our main goal. Therefore, our research is an attempt to make a semiology reading of titles of Aziz Gardi's stories (Three Medicines) at all levels of language, in order to reveal the linguistic structure, codes and meanings of the names and titles of the stories.
