This research is an effort to further introduce critical discourse analysis from the perspective of English scholar, Norman Fairclough; once as a theoretical principle and once as a methodological principle in research in the social sciences, especially sociology. On one hand, in this study, the researchers have tried to present the theoretical principles of critical discourse analysis by Fairclough for studying social phenomena and revealing linguistic functions on non-linguistic actions, and on the other hand, they have tried to enlighten the phases of critical discourse analysis as a methodological principle
