A New Horizon for Pedagogical Excellence: Launching Mamosta Journal

It is with immense pride and a profound sense of responsibility that we present the inaugural issue(1) of Mamosta Journal for Pedagogical Sciences and Teacher Education. Born out of a critical need to bridge theory and practice in contemporary education, this journal aims to serve as a vibrant platform for educators, researchers, and policymakers dedicated to transforming the educational landscape.

The title Mamosta—meaning "teacher" or "scholar"—is a deliberate tribute to the individuals who stand at the heart of every educational system. Teacher education is not merely a technical preparation; it is a transformative process that shapes the future of societies. As global educational paradigms shift toward more inclusive, digital, and student-centered methodologies, the need for localized, high-quality, peer-reviewed research has never been more urgent.

Our first issue embodies this spirit of inclusivity and global dialogue, featuring twelve groundbreaking papers published across three languages: Kurdish, Arabic, and English. This trilingual approach reflects our commitment to honoring regional educational contexts while simultaneously engaging with international academic discourse. The diverse studies within this issue explore critical themes, including innovative teaching methodologies, challenges in teacher professional development, educational psychology, and the integration of technology in the modern classroom.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the authors who trusted us with their scholarship for this maiden voyage, and to our dedicated editorial board and peer reviewers whose  high standards ensured the high quality of these selected works.

As we celebrate this milestone, we look firmly toward the future. Mamosta Journal invites researchers, scholars, and practicing educators from around the globe to contribute to our upcoming issues.

We welcome the submission of original research articles, comprehensive review papers, and insightful case studies in the fields of pedagogical sciences, teacher training, curriculum development, and educational leadership. Submissions are accepted year-round in Kurdish, Arabic, and English.

Join us in shaping the future of education. Share your insights, elevate your research, and contribute to a growing community of practice.

Authors can find detailed information on manuscript formatting, open-access policies, and the online submission portal on our official journal website.

Together, let us advance the science of teaching and empower the educators of tomorrow.
