Curriculum Books

Curriculum books are an essential component of the academic publishing scope at Salahaddin University-Erbil, and their preparation and approval must adhere to rigorous standards. Any proposed curriculum book must first receive official approval, recorded in the minutes of the relevant department’s scientific committee, ensuring that the work aligns with the academic needs and priorities of the program. To guarantee scholarly quality and subject-matter expertise, at least one of the authors must hold the rank of Assistant Professor or higher within the field of specialization of the book. Furthermore, curriculum books must strictly follow the official syllabus of the department and clearly indicate the intended academic level—whether undergraduate, postgraduate, or another program—so that the content is appropriately tailored to the students’ learning stage. To maintain academic credibility and relevance, all curriculum books must be based on current, accurate, and reliable scientific sources, reflecting both contemporary knowledge and recognized international standards.
