Abstract

Abstract

In order to achieve the study aims, the researcher hypotheses the following:

There are statistically significant differences between pre and post tests for research groups (auditory, visual and motion (touch)) in learning some basic skills in handball and in advantage of post test results.

There are statistically significant differences for the learning program according to sensory preferences exercises (auditory, visual and motion (touch)) in learning some basic skills in handball for students.

The researcher used the experimental approach which appropriates with the nature of the research, the study population intentionally selected represented by second grade students at college of physical education and sport sciences in Salahaddin University / Erbil numbered (101) participants, but the research sample consisted of (33) individuals divided into three equal groups (auditory, visual and motion (touch) groups, and according to the sensory preferences scale that contributed on the sample individuals to select each group according to the students preferred sensor, therefore, each group consisted of (11) students with the percentage of (%32.67) of population. The learning program applied on the study groups twice a week with a total of (12) units for each group stated in (22/1/2024).

After data analysis statistically the researcher reached the following conclusions:

1- The experimental groups of (visual and touch) overcome the (auditory) experimental group in performing dribbling skill.

2- The experimental groups of (visual and touch) overcome the (auditory) experimental group in performing overhead pass skill.

Suggestions and recommendations:

1- The necessity of preparing teaching programs according to preference method which is more effective in teaching skill performance in handball.

2- Taking maximum advantage in the modern visual technology in preparing teaching units for basic skills in handball which effects positively in teaching handball skills
